Maiswim swimwear is built with high-performance fabrics for comfort and durability. Each piece includes discreet, built-in leak protection so you can swim and move without worrying about anything.
The protection system uses four functional layers designed for breathability, moisture control, and reliable, all-day leak protection.
Our Materials & Production
We choose materials that balance high performance with lower environmental impact.
Our swimwear is made with Econyl®, a regenerated nylon created from recycled waste like discarded fishing nets and ocean debris. It performs like premium fabric while reducing the need for new resources.
For underwear, we use a blend of organic and recycled cotton, with a higher share of organic cotton for softness and comfort against the skin.
All products are made in the north of Portugal, in Porto, where we work with local production to maintain quality and consistency.
HOW IT REALLY WORKS:
1. Outer layer
Ultra-resistant, lightweight, stretchy, soft, and breathable. Designed with innovative construction, it is twice as resistant to chlorine, creams, and sunscreens and dries three times faster than ordinary swimwear.
2. Intermediate layer
A superfine waterproof mesh that prevents moisture from seeping through while maintaining the quality and natural feel of a regular swimsuit.
3. Absorbent inner layer
This internal layer efficiently absorbs moisture, keeping it from reaching the outer layers of the swimsuit. Say goodbye to discomfort and hello to worry-free beach days.
4. Normal layer
Made from the softest, most breathable materials, this layer is gentle on your skin and designed to prevent irritation or allergies.
